My autoupdater tells me that I need to Update Flash Player (for my Safari Browser on my Mac) I do what the screen tells me,the update downloads, then when I click 'Install...." the message box says that it is downloading and gives a figure or either 25% or 30% as the 'progress' SEVERAL HOURSE LATER it still hasn't completed downloading [or so the dialog box says] and thus I have not updated to the most recent version of Flash Player. I have tried this no less than 6 TIMES and never got past the 'pseudo' Downloading message box. Now when I encounter video online it tells me that my player is out of date, but I am completely incapable of getting it to download and install... What is going on?????
This morning we resolved a problem that prevented Flash Player installations from completing for some of our Macintosh users.
If you encountered this problem, please delete any previously downloaded Flash Player installer and either:
1.) Download the installer again from https://get.adobe.com/flashplayer
2.) Download the stand-alone installer from http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/pub/flashplayer/latest/help/install_flash_player_osx.dmg
