I am trying to achieve subtle, simple animations that involve small, slow movement paths and rotation tweens. The animations are coming out jittery. They aren't completely out of control, but they are bad enough to be unacceptable as a professional animation done for a client. I actually posted a website that shows in great detail the problem: demo of jittery animation problem.
I isolated at least part of the problem to be due to the fact that flash does not rotate symbols over the course of a tween consistently from frame to frame. I've tried everything I can think of - messing with frame rates, messing with publish settings, using classic instead of motion tween, converting tweens to frame-by-frame. Anyone have insight into this?
