"Create Shapes from Vector Layers" Behaviour Breakdown

    zlovatt Level 1

After receiving a few support requests for Explode Shape Layers pertaining to this, I did a few tests to compare how Create Shapes from Vector Layers behaves given different inputs.

This isn't exhaustive, doesn't at all touch on dynamic pathfinders or any effects/filters, just simple shapes with fills & strokes.

This is purely for reference; if you're experiencing any strange results, this could help figure out what's going on. ESL has a button to remove the full artboard, but currently doesn't support removing the shape bounding box.

(Red is worth 0, yellow 0.5 and green 1 "points," out of 3 total, to calculate the "score" for accuracy.)
