I'm using a Mac, Lightroom 5. I see hundreds of .dcp file profiles in the CameraProfiles folder, but within Lightroom -> Develop -> Camera Calibration -> Profiles -> Adobe Standard it's a pulldown with only one option, Adobe Standard with a check mark next to it. I've tried moving files outside of the CamerProfile folder, but no luck, still just gives me the one option, Adobe Standard.
I'm using a Leica D-Lux camera and the default import image colors upon import look dull and muted. Any ideas?
For many cameras, Adobe Standard is the only profile provided. If that profile doesn't meet your needs then you can make adjustments until the image looks right and then save new camera defaults for the camera. Another alternative would be to use the DNG profile creator to create other profiles for your camera. It is available from Adobe Labs.
What Jim says.
Lightroom shows you only the profile(s) suitable for the camera that took the raw, which is why LR doesn't show you all the others you found.
These answers were very helpful. Thank you both!
