update adobe flash

get prompt to upgrade adobe flash. executed prompt and downloaded the file. got to the install and was asked for a password. tried both Apple and Adobe password neither were accepted. changed both passwords and still can't get the install to open. run into the same password problem trying to uninstall existing so I can do a clean replacement download

The OS is prompting for the password, as such, this is your Apple password.  Since your having difficulties with this, please see What userid & password do I need to install Flash Player? which contains some links to troubleshooting password issues on OS X.
