how to remove flash completely

I want to remove my older flash player completely, i removed the same from my program systems, but still it's here. can anyone suggest something,. I want to add new flash player so that i can check the videos of my site [link removed by moderator] properly, currently i am adding videos but i am getting a message pls update your flash player all the time.

To completely uninstall Flash Player use the uninstaller:

• Uninstall Flash Player | Mac OS
• Uninstall Flash Player | Windows
