    Is Opera 8.x browser compatible

I frequent this site http://support.alphasoftware.com/alphafivehelp/index.htm and find that I cannot use the search or index section of their RoboHelp developed site. The Index and or the Search features display an alphabetical listing of the content but do display correctly with IE or Firefox. Is RoboHelp 5.10 compatible with the Opera webbrowser?

Hi george_c and welcome to our community

What you are seeing is the way WebHelp is designed to work. It is sensing that Opera is probably incapable of using the scripting necessary to display the Index and Search as it appears in IE. So it shifts into "Pure HTML" mode. The functions can still be used, they aren't broken. They are simply presenting links for you to click.

          Sincerely... Rick
