    why won't lightroom 5.7.1 load after installation was successful?


      i subscribed to online subscription version of Creative Cloud with Photoshop and LIghtroom. My PC runs windows 8.1 64-bit. the Creative Cloud app shows that Lightroom is current, but it will not load at all. When I click on the icon to open it, nothing happens. It was installed on two other computers. I tried to follow the in-app directions for uninstalling on of those, but they were woefully incomplete. There is no clear "deauthorize" option that confirms on the deauthorized computer that you have been successful - not that I was able to identify. I deleted the app off the other PC - so I'm not sure what else to try to get it to run on my new PC. Any help would be appreciated.
