    Time delay to take screen shot

    AndrewNock
      Hi all, i'm using the 'ScreenToFile' function to take a screen shot of the screen, but before I use this command, I use a displaySave() to display a place to save the image...

      All good but when the screen takes the photo, it still has the remnense of the 'save dialog box'.

      Any ways to get around this... Thanks!

          Sure, don't call the ScreenToFile function until a frame cylce is allowed to
          happen. You can also use updateStage but I don't like to use that unless
          absolutely necessary.

          Something like this would allow the cycling I'm talking about.

          property pMode

          on beginSprite me
          pMode = 0
          end

          on exitFrame me
          case pMode of
          0:
          displaySave ()
          pMode = 1
          1:
          ScreenToFile
          pMode = 2
          2:
          nothing
          end case
          end

          You dont' really need the nothing, I was just showing that you can do
          something else when the mode = 2. You can also add other frame cycles if
          one is not enough by moving the SceenToFile function to case 4 or 5 and
          adding pMode = 2 and pMode = 3, etc to each previous respective mode.

          I don't know these functions so I'm assuming they're from an xtra or maybe
          new in MX 2004 which I don't use because it takes twice as long to open.
