    replacing JS/Ajax with Flash?

    abrtlt
I have a web page that plays video clips and displays images that can be selected on the page. These clips and images are loaded on-the fly using Javascript/Ajax, (without reloading the page). The video clip (Flash) file names and image file names are obtained from a mySQL database query by a PHP script called aynchronously by Javascript in the page.
Is it possible to redo the whole thing using Flash and nothing else? In other words, can a Flash control access asynchronously a PHP script and alter its own multimedia contents on the basis of the data supplied by PHP?
      Thanks!

use loadVars, to sendAndLoad variabes to a php script.
