If, for example, I have a four page document that I need to print as front/back and fold as a newsletter, then how do I export two PDFs of the spread (page 1 and 4) and (2 and 3).
The 2/3 spread is fine but however I print that out, it gives me three spreads... Pages 1 and 4 on their own half-spreads and pages 2/3 together as desired.
I wouldn’t even bother with that for a four pager. Just set it up as two sided two pages and you’re done.
No need to do this in most cases. Most commercial printers want single pages that they will impose themselves.
If you will be printing it in-house to an office printer, Acrobat and InDesign both have a booklet printing function that will take a PDF that is single pages and print it as a booklet. (Many office printers also have this function built into the print driver)
