Ok, so this isn't completely CF-based, but I am programming in CF to my browser, which I would like to display on a TV. Here's the twist... maybe not a twist... sort of a lazy spiral...

I want to send output (like a ticker) at the bottom of the TV screen... but with the cable TV running behind it.

Should I be sending the cable TV into the computer first, trying to apply my overlay, and then send it to the TV? Or can I configure a way to send my signal directly to the TV from my PC and overlay the cable TV that is already going into the TV?

Any guidance would be appeciated.

Thanks,
-Nate

You will have to go through a device at some point to integrate the 2 signals. Your computer can do it if you have the proper software. If not there are video mixers out there that can do it for you.
