My students use effects or plugins to create effects such as a double page spread effect with highlights & shadows to look as if the spread is open on a table. I don't know if they do this in Photoshop itself or use 3rd party plugins/downloads etc from elsewhere. I have a fairly rigid firewall so if you can suggest 3rd party options please bear this in mind!
The students also use standard images of say, a set of PC, iPad & phone & overlay their visuals to give a professional presentation - any ideas of where these are from?
Would be very grateful for advice!!
Spreads can be simulated using actions and device templates are sold on respective stock content sites. When you type in the keywords into Google, millions of pages and tutorials will turn up.
Thanks Mylenium - that's the problem ;-/ too many choices!
I wasn't sure if PS came with its own version as an effect/layer option?
No. This is all standard stuff you can do with PS off the bat, just containerized for convenience into respective actions and templates, e.g. using perspective transforms and a liquify preset to simulate a curved page. In the end, you could create it al lon your own, given enough time.
