Is there a way to to mask a portrait oriented video so that the black sidebars appear white for YouTube? I want to embed it on a white web page without the big ugly black rectangle showing. Fingers crossed! Thanks!!
Create a standard HD composition that has the same frame rate as your vertical video. Add a white solid to the composition. Now drag your vertical video into the composition and scale it down to fit top to bottom.
This is really basic AE. You could do the same in premiere Pro or any editing program.
