    insert quicktime movie

    Deaftv
I am still learning how to use dreamweaver. I have H.O.T. Dreamweaver MX 2004 book. I followed instruction how to insert quicktime. It is easy. I followed the prodecure then upload. It showed light Q with ? on it. Nothing on it. When I created html and insert quicktime and hit F12 to preview. It worked good but how come not on actual website. What did I do wrong?

You probably have your paths incorrectly linked. Show us the snippet of your
code where you're embedding the QT movie, please.

I guess what you mean to copy and paste the code.

Your linking the movie incorrectly. If the movie is in the same directory as
your page, it will look like this -

              <embed src="trailer.mov" width="320" height="280"></embed>

Or, if your calling it from a different directory, it would look like this -

              <embed src="foo/trailer.mov" width="320" height="280"></embed>

So, all in all - get rid of that '%20' in your src="..." - and replace it
with the proper path, and you'll be OKAY.

Your movie has a space in front of its name. Delete that space and
                re-link it.
