Should have said that I tried to install Application Manager so I could uninstall Premiere Elements.
What version of Premiere Elements on your Mac computer operating system?
I would encourage you to do the Premiere Elements uninstall and reinstall by the typical Mac way.
But, between the uninstall and the reinstall, please do a free ccleaner run through to get rid of leftovers from
incomplete uninstalls and reinstalls.
Until proven otherwise, this is not the Adobe Tool that you were pointed to.
Where are your installation files coming from - Adobe, as purchased download or other?
Are you doing the installs with the antivirus and firewall(s) disabled?
Please review and consider and offer more details. Depending on your details and if necessary, I will post
an alternative source for obtaining new installation files for your purchased serial number.
Many thanks, this worked perfectly!
A.T. I was trying to install Premiere Elements 13. I couldn't uninstall. I guess by "the typical Mac way" you mean drop the app. into the trash? I went further than this and removed everything I could find using EasyFind, but it didn't help. Of course CCleaner would have helped, but there was no reference to it from Adobe, so I didn't know of it.
The app. came form Adobe, and it works fine now, after using CCleaner.
Many thanks for taking the time to reply.
Thanks for the follow ups.
I have been traveling and now trying to catch up on replies.
Glad to learn all is going well. The free ccleaner is the only one that I have used. Not sure of the originals of the Adobe Cleaning Tool.
Best wishes with your Premiere Elements projects.
