What version of Premiere Elements and on what computer operating system?
For now, a generalized Premiere Elements Windows answer.....
You would select all the clips (all at one time) that you want to move together, then Clip Menu/Group.
Or right click anywhere in the selection to bring up the pop up menu including the Group option.
Have you been there and done that yet?

I'm using Elements 13 with Windows 7 on a quad core 7, 32 GB Ram system. It
appears that Elements 13 may automatically link the cutaway video clips
I've placed over the basic interview clip (1:34). Groups, if I understand
this correctly, will lock selected consecutive clips on the timeline: I
wasn't trying to do that, but I certainly will at some point. I want to
make sure that my base clip with the several various cutaway clips stay
locked. I hope I'm explaining myself clearly enough.
Thanks again - I believe I've got the hang of grouping and ungrouping video
and audio tracks now, what it will and won't do.
Great news. Great job in working through the video grouping and ungrouping options.
Please do not hesitate to ask if you need clarification on your Premiere Elements workflows.
