I am designing forms in InDesign CC to make them a fillable pdf. This is going OK. There is 1 problem I can't seem to solve. When I make a textfield (to be later fillable in pdf) I can't change the lettertype (only the size). I have made all styles with the lettertype I want, but the textfield does not except any style. So the lettertype stays New Times Roman. Please help.
You have to do this in Acrobat Pro after the form has been saved.
You can change the typeface that appears in the fields by exporting your InDesign file to an Interactive PDF, then opening the PDF in Acrobat Pro. Under Forms, click on Edit. Double click on the field, it will bring up the Text Field Properties panel. Under Appearance you can change the Font (select only system fonts), You can also change other properties such as alignment and colour.
To proceed after changing the properties select Close Form Editing
