Flash Player Installer Doesn't Complete

Windows 7, 64 bit,  Firefox 36.0.4

I can download file, and execute the installer. The Adobe Flash Player Installer box appears (is blank) and nothing happens after that. It shows running in task manager, but the installation never completes. I've already checked that Add Ons are activated, if that matters.

Try this:

1. Restart your computer to stop any Adobe process that is running.

2, Click on the following Adobe link. Go to the bottom where it says, "Still having problems?". Click on the link for Firefox.

Installation problems | Flash Player | Windows

If this works, you might want to Bookmark the above link.

Thanks, that worked. Prior to doing this I noticed the .exe  file wasn't fully downloading.

I have been having the exact same problem! It's so annoying, I have tried restarting my computer, uninstalling then re-installing (which is a whole other problem) and anything else I can think of, when I click on the link for still having problems it comes up that the website address is invalid. Wish they would fix this problem already!
