I understand the the TOC works left to right and top to bottom in regard to text boxes for the TOC. However, despite the fact that the title of each chapter has an x-measurement lower than the body of the text and subheads that follow it, the subheads are still coming out above the chapter title in the TOC. I purposely made the chapter headers stick out to the left and used the left indent in the paragraphs panel to specify a half inch inset just so as to avoid this very problem. Anyone have any ideas?
Why so many text frames? Can you not have 1 text frame per page?
There is just an extra text frame at the top of each new chapter page (there are about 10 altogether in the book), although it is not anchored in the text. Do you think the problem is in the lack of the header text frame being anchored?
I don't know why you need it being a separate frame?
If there's only 10 in the entire book, then I'd try to put in the text if you can.
