Never tried it....larger SSDs are cheap and keep applications like LR perky! I'm using a Crucial MX100 256 GB SSD $110.
If you must Symbolic Links should work. Here are some examples:

I realize that a larger SSD is cheap, but not an option at the moment. I have software that uses a single use activation that would be very costly to have to repurchase.
I have done something similar to this, but instead of symbolic links, I have actually changed the registry locations of these folders using the MS documentation. It is a cleaner way of doing it. I don't want to spend money on Lightroom if it cannot be installed on a drive that is not the OS drive. All of the forum posts I have been reading specify that the Cloud version cannot be installed in any other way other than being on the OS drive, so if I can get the non-cloud version to work, I would consider buying it.
