Why won't Reader/Acrobat DC for mobile (iPad version) open LiveCycle produced fillable forms and is there any intention to remedy this major omission? It seems incredible that the reader can't open a PDF document produced by one of Adobe's own products, especially when the Mac desktop version of the reader can perform this task. I also have Acrobat Pro XI but don't seem to be able to use that to convert the LiveCycle document to a version that the mobile reader can handle. Any feedback/advice would be much appreciated.
Hi. Thanks for your assistance. At least I can now stop trying to resolve the problem. Fortunately, the organisation whose form I was trying to use have finally replaced the LiveCycle document with one produced by Acrobat and so all is well. I am sure they didn't realise there was a problem until I contacted them and explained what was wrong. I wonder if there are other organisations who don't realise that fillable pdf forms produced by Live Cycle won't work on mobile devices? Perhaps Adobe could make this more widely known? Anyway, my problem has been explained and resolved, so thanks once again for your assistance.
