I purchased LR5 from Amazon a few months ago. There were some initial installation problems with Amazon's software downloader/installer but with technical support a solution was found and the product is registered on my Adobe account with the correct serial number and date of purchase, a few months ago now. Until recently I used only the Library module bit now I want to do more advanced processing I cannot open the Develop module. I get the message 'Develop module is disabled. Please renew your membership to reactivate the Develop module'. The Map module is also disabled in the same way. I don't understand why this has happened or how to rectify it, so any advice would be much appreciated. I guess it's a Cloud problem although all I purchased was a standalone single licence for LR5 so I don't know why, or if, the Cloud should be involved.
Use the link above to download the Perpetual license version.
The version you have installed is the Creative Cloud version and you need to uninstall. Use the operating system procedure for uninstalling the present version, this will just remove the application file and will not interfere with your Catalog file, Preferences and other personal files.
Run the install package that you have downloaded and use the License Key that you purchased to activate. Every thing will be fine.
Fine! I have done this successfully. Many thanks for your help.
