Do you mean that (a) your Adobe ID/account was updated or (b) the app was automatically updated from Adobe Reader to Acrobat DC?
If it's (b), which app do you use? Acrobat DC for iOS or Android?
It is b..and I have an android...I realize there was an automatic update done, however with that update I lost a great many files/documents many of which were purchased patterns
All your files are still available on your device. You can access them by following the steps given here: How to open PDFs on Adobe Acrobat DC on Android. We are sorry for the inconvenience caused to you and are actively trying to bring back the Documents tab in a future release.
I registered an account and bought software from Adobe in 2004. They must have lost my registration details as my log-in email address was not recognised and a second Adobe ID account was set up in early 2015 so it does not show the history of the software bought from them since that time
