ACSM file problems

Hi all, I recently bought some books with the file extension  ACSM and I am unable to set Digital Editions 4 to be the program to open this particular file extension.

I can set adobe acrobat reader dc to open them but when I try to download I get the error message telling me that it is an unsupported file type

I am using windows 7

1. Open Adobe Digital Editions

2. Drag and drop acsm file to ADE

thanks for your reply, this did work.

The strange thing is that I had tried dragging and dropping in this manner several time yesterday and only got an error message- today it worked
