    Lightroom 5.7.1 LR Mobile "Waiting to Connect"

      Hi,

       

      I am using OSX Yosemite 10.10.2 on a 13" MacBook Pro, and attempting to get Lightroom 5.7.1 (downloaded from CC) to make the jump from my Windows box (8.1).  I have had some hiccups in getting LR to launch and load my catalog regularly, but that is a story (and perhaps thread) for another day.  When I sign the app into LR Mobile from the Mac, I get a consistent, "waiting to connect," status, and the app does not sync my images.  I attempted the quit/delete sync data/restart option suggested on other threads, but that has not helped me at all.  I am still staring at, "waiting to connect." I am also not seeing images sync to my account or the mobile app in the background while the desktop app still says that it is waiting to connect, as some others have reported.  Any other ideas as to what might be causing this issue? 

       

      As an aside, I can still open the same catalog on my Windows 8.1 box, and it connects and syncs just fine.
