    Upgrade advice for video workstation

    James Paulley

Hi, I'm after advice on what I might need to upgrade to squeeze a bit more performance out of my current rig and whether anything is currently acting as a bottleneck? I use this machine for motion graphics work in After Effects, some Cinema 4D and occasional video editing in Premiere. This was my first ever rig so I may have made a few mistakes?

      Current hardware:

      - GA-Z77X-UD5H

      - Intel Core i7-3770K

      - Gigabyte GTX 770 2GB

      - 32GB Patriot Viper 3

      - Sandisk SSD for OS

      - Samsung 840 Pro SSD for AE disk cache

      - 1TB Seagate HDD for project files

      - 400GB Seagate HDD for renders

      - Corsair Carbide 500R case

      - Corsair HX750 PSU

Was going to overclock the i7 if you think that's worth it? Need to pick a CPU cooler if anyone can recommend one? I was also wondering if replacing the two HDDs with SSDs would be worthwhile? Not sure if adding a second GPU would help?

Anyway, thanks for any help, really appreciate it.
