    Change color of movieclip in loaded swf

    nws_dave
      If I am loading a swf (created with Flash 8), how can I access the color property of a movieclip instance named "bg".

      I can load the swf:
      <mx:Image id="KRL1018" source="swf/KRL1018.swf" maintainAspectRatio="true" width="40" />

      If I were doing this in Flash, I could do it this way:
      KRL1018_color = new Color(_root.KRL1018.bg);
      KRL1018_color.setRGB("0x333333");

      Eventually I'd like to be able to set the color of the movieclip in the loaded swf via a combobox, but for now I'm just trying to determine the best way to get at the movieclips that are in the swf.

      thanks
