At the risk of being laughed out of the community, I'm going to ask anyhow.
Is there a way to scale items in InDesign by the effective DPI? I know that you can check the info panel to see if what you've scaled toisat least 300dpi, but is there a way to not have to guess and check?
I'd love to find a way to place an image at an effective 300 dpi, or scale based on effective dpi.
While creating a rather large program, I'd rather not waste much time with sizing, then checking info, then sizing, then checking info. I also would like to avoid opening each image in photoshop to adjust to 300dpi.
Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!
Thank you so much!! When working with hundreds of images, it is so much easier to just specify the dpi upon placing rather than opening each image or running a batch in photoshop. You have relieved a lot of frustration for me, thank you!
