I am working on a project, and I downloaded a free font. However, when I work on a different computer, the font won't show up because it is not installed at that computer. Now I know that you can't embed a font into indesign, but is there some way that I could save the font as a picture with a clear background and then place it into the indesign document? (I have access to photoshop and illustrator if i need to use those)
Thanks, ASAP responses VERY MUCH appreciated
Download it on the computer in use. Copy font(s) to a thumb drive you need. Copy fonts needed to Google's dropbox or another site so that they can be downloaded.
Pictures of fonts won't work.
Or you could use File > Package... and check the Include Fonts box, and that font should be available (if it isn't a T1 font) in the packaged document wherever it is opened, without any installation required.
