From our Tree guru:
The short answer is that we no longer provide fine-grained access to data
via the Tree control itself. Instead changes like adding/removing/modifying
data should be done directly through whatever API the data supports (e.g.
Object notations, e4x, ICollectionView, IList).
For automatic updates, we recommend XML or any of the Collections APIs. Also
see ITreeDataDescriptor which provides information to the Tree control
regarding branches and children.

Any body want to ask the Tree Guru (Who ever that may be) and ask him to put together a Sample. I cannot figure this out. Hook the tree up to a simple Query in Coldfusion - hook to the sample databases and populate a tree. It was very simple to do in 1.5 and now it its the hardest thing to figure out.
Is there any updated documentation that we can look at to get the tree working with a query to a database. Or at least be able to get the ITreeDataDescriptor to work, The Events are either missing or they were takin out. (ModelChangeEvents)
