Do you have a scrollpane component in the library of the .fla?
Sure i have. All works fine. Scrollpane works too but it works wrong. Just copy/paste it and you will see it..
? what is spContentHolder.
What exactly are you trying to do with this (incomplete) code?
Im trying to insert "my_mc" movieclip to the "my_sp" Scroll pane on the run.
Anout spContentHolder you can read here http://livedocs.macromedia.com/flash/mx2004/main_7_2/wwhelp/wwhimpl/common/html/wwhelp.htm ?context=Flash_MX_2004&file=00002771.html
>>With a little more hacking, you could easily use attachMovie or
createEmptyMovieClip instead of createChild.
You didn't hack anything so that's why the code isn't working.
So is it possible to attach MovieClip to the ScrollPane ON THE RUN? I mean create in action script movie clip and scrollpane and then attach movieclip to the scrollpane?
As far as I can tell, not without hacking the View class. It either accepts a string or the name of a class. It doesn't support providing a reference to a movieclip. Seems like a lot of work to accomplish what you want to do.
Then, for example: a already have connected MovieClip with it size 200x200 pixels to the Scrollpane and it works ok. Buy i want to dynamicly change size of my MovieClip to f.e 400x400 and i want to ScrollPane to take this size fix itself. Is It Possoble?
My main goal is that i have a MovieClip in my .fla that takes data from XML file. I want to connect this MovieClip to the Scrollpane. So MovieClip gets data dynamicly from XML and scrollpane works wrong with it... =((
