Can you explain more about what tool your are referring to?
Like Ned said, we will need more details before we can troubleshoot. If you have a purchased version of Flash Professional, send me your Adobe ID, location, and phone number over a private message. Click my picture and use the message option.
Can you please post the file with which you are facing this issue upon Find Replace All?
No one else is having this issue? Really?
Every file I try to do an FnR crashes AnimateCC.
I am trying to get some work done on a tight deadline and now I get to figure out how to record my screen and upload it here.
How many times have I sent Adobe info about this?
I have sent you a PM, will appreciate your response.
As I said in my post, it is Every File, as in Any File.
If I send you a file, it means nothing, as it happens with every one I have.
You can send me a file, I'll run an FnR, and it will crash Animate CC.
This however, does not happen with Flash CS5.5. There it works perfectly as it always has.
So, what happens to those files that are assumably sent to Adobe for debugging, as shown in my incident video?
An example of how I tried to find out what the problem could be:
I created a New AS3 document; empty.
I ran a Find and Replace All and it completed fine, having found no text in the document.
Then, I added just this script to the only frame:
//b_rev.y = 19.1;
//b_for.y = 19.1;
Searched for "//b_rev"
To replace with "b_rev" and the program immediately froze up... and crashed.
