Kindly tell us the name of the software as well as the OS version you are using, so that we can assist you appropriately.
If the photo has been previously imported, then you should NOT import it again. There's no point to importing the photo twice.
What you need to do is go to the Library Module (not the Import dialogbox) and find the desired photo, and then from there, select the photo and then Edit it.
Hi, yes I had realised I didn't need to re import it. But when I select the
image, it shows on the main image section of the page, but I am unable to
edit it. Obviously I'm doing something wrong but can't figure it out. Is
there something I need to select in order to edit. Normally I press D and
it brings up the editing options on the side panel. Thanks
Go to the Develop module.
You don't Double click an image to edit it. You select it in the Film strip area and go to the Develop module to edit it.
Please take the time and review some of the many tutorials on how to use Lightroom properly.
But when I select the image, it shows on the main image section of the page, but I am unable to edit it.
Please give us the details. What steps are you trying to use so you can edit it? What happens when you try to edit it? If there is an error message, please quote the complete unedited word-for-word verbatim error message.
And as long as we're talking about this, please state your operating system and the exact full version of Lightroom.
