In my Hebrew right-to-left document I have hundreds of footnotes references. Some of them come after digits. When they come after digits, the footnote reference is to the right of the digit, while it should be to the left of the digit. I know that to correct a single case like this I would use Type>Insert Special ME Character>Unicode Markers>Right to Left Marker.
But how can I make all the footnotes references that come after digits in the whole document be on the correct side of the digit - in one step? Without going through the whole document word by word looking for digits with footnote references after them.
Use this GREP search:
Which means: Find one or more digits that come before a footnote marker, and replace with those digits followed by the Unicode RTL marker.
