I have been running Adobe Flash Player 17 on my Windows 7 8GB 64 bit OS while playing Farmville 2 on Facebook and the game ran great. I downloaded Adobe Flash Player version 17 and now the game runs slow, lags and skips. I've googled and done all the fixes I can find (uncheck hardware acceleration, made sure I'm running Google Chrome 64 bit, deleted my Flash player folders and cleared my caches and browsing history) nothing has worked. Some of the fixes say to disable Version 17 and run an older version of Adobe Flash but I only have one version of Flash Player to select in Chrome plugins and version 17 will now allow me to download an older version. Are there any fixes out there for Adobe Flash Player 17 that actually work?? I'm not a computer genius... I can get by in a crowd but am certainly not an expert when it comes to fixing things with computers.

We haven't really done anything that would impact 3D performance recently, and Farmville 2 is one of the real-world things that we test every release.
First things first, re-enable Hardware Acceleration. Turning off hardware guarantees poor performance on complex 3D games.
After that, reboot. If you're still experiencing performance problems, do you see similarly poor performance in IE?
If not, please open chrome and go to chrome://gpu

There are a bunch of disabled GPU features under "Problems Detected" that may be affecting performance:
There is a slightly newer driver available. Not sure how much of this it will fix, but it's a good place to start.
Unfortunately, there's not a lot else that you can do here, aside from use a different browser that may not have blacklisted similar features on this card. The caveat is that Google is very data driven, so their telemetry was clearly telling them that these features are problematic on this chipset and driver combination. You might get a faster experience from another browser that hasn't blacklisted this stuff, but most likely it will come at the cost of stability.

Were these GPU features disabled when I updated my Adobe Flash Player from version 16 to version 17? My Dell Windows 7 Home 8 GB desktop was running great with Adobe Flash Player 16. There is no way that I can go back to Adobe Flash Player version 16?

They're disabled by Chrome and therefore not available to us.

Thank you for your help. I have ordered a new laptop that will hopefully run better with the new Adobe Flash Player updated version.
