    Help using PopUpManger class

    xyco45 Level 1
      <mx:Script>
      <![CDATA[
      import mx.containers.Canvas;
      import mx.controls.Button;
      import mx.managers.PopUpManager;
      private var buttonTest:Button;
      private var canvasTest:Canvas;
      public function createPopUp():void
      {

      buttonTest = new Button();
      buttonTest.width = 80;
      buttonTest.height = 20;
      buttonTest.label = "so cooz";
      buttonTest.x = 50;
      buttonTest.y = 50;
      canvasTest = new Canvas();
      canvasTest.x = 100;
      canvasTest.y = 100;
      canvasTest.width = 200;
      canvasTest.height = 300;
      canvasTest.addChild(buttonTest);
      PopUpManager.createPopUp(canvasTest, Canvas, false);

      }

      ]]>
      </mx:Script>
      <mx:Button x="181" y="132" label="Button" click = "createPopUp()"/>

      this is my code I want to basically make it so that the buttton in the canvas will appear in the form of a pop up when you click the button labeled "Button" but it doesn't do anything.... how do you use the pop up manager without having to create a custom component (which is how the pop up manager is used in pretty much all the examples ive seen).
