I am using InDesign 6 on a Mac.
I am importing my text as RTF (because I have endnotes that won't copy any other way)
On some of my text boxes when I press enter to move the text the next page it creates white space that covers my footer.
I have tried:
1. Changing layer order
2. Doing a page break
3. Starting a whole new document
4. Clearing paragraph style and reseting
Nothing is working. The only thing that sort of works is SHIFT + Enter but then the last line of my last paragraph is justified and looks weird.
Text before I do anything
Text after I press return to move the line Yoga is a vast...to the next page
No white when I hit shift enter but then justify is messed up of last line
Has your paragraph style a ruler below defined?
Why are the footers on the same layer or a layer below the text,
it should be a layer at the top.
Is your text frame set to auto-resize? (Select the frame and CTRL-B,
I am obviously an IDIOT! I kept on thinking it needs to be the layer under. I put the footer on the top layer and it works. THANKS!
