    LIghtroom CC does not open

      As a cloud member I have updated to Lightroom CC, but after installing it, I am not able to open the app. When trying to open it,nothing happens.

          I have the same problem =\

          Upd: I fix it. Just logout in Creative cloud, then login and start Lightroom. And he has started.

          If this don't work also can do like this: logout in Creative cloud, launch Lightroom and he offer to login...

            I have the same problem. Splash screen appears and promptly disappears; but the app itself doesn't open. Both Photoshop CC and Lightroom 5.7.1 still work fine. Log file when starting Lightroom CC is as follows:

              Try signing out of the CC desktop app, then sign back in again.

                    You must logut from you account of Creative cloud. Not just close and open..

                      Did you sign out, or did you just quit and restart? You have to sign out and sign back in again (maybe a few times).

                          Jim - Signed out, quit all apps (except browser), resigned in and tried to launch Lightroom CC and problem persists. Have repeated this cycle about 10 times now. Also tried restarting the PC, uninstalling and re-installing Lightroom CC.

                            sergretou - Tried your method as well; and once a pop-up appeared asking for acceptance of the licence agreement; but the app still didn't start. I'm repeating the process and monitoring this thread...

                              The second solution worked perfectly for me.  Do EXACTLY as follows:

                               

                              1. Log out of Creative Cloud - don't just close the app (no need to close it at all), go into preferences and click on Log Out.
                              2. Click on Lightroom CC to open the app.
                              3. You will see the license agreement blah blah - accept and go through the rest of the motions as prompted.

                               

                              Lightroom CC should be open and functioning normally after the above!  You can then go back to Creative Cloud and Log In again.

                                Tried Jim's solution again at work (different internet connection) and it magically worked - it seems to be a case of persistence; and perhaps trying different net connections if Jim's solution doesn't work.
