sign out of Creative Cloud and then sign back in ...
can do this through CC app or open up LR5, help/sign out

Well, it worked, but it is ridiculous, that Adobe hasn't tested even this obvious and simple case. It is a shame.
It costed me several hours to find out what is going. I am very disappointed.
Open LR 5 then sign out.
Open LR CC and it will sign you back in.
