The Performance tab is in Lightroom CC/Lightroom 6. It is not available in LR5.
Hmm - I have this problem too.
I have Photoshop/Lightroom - what I thought was CC - I pay monthly - my understanding is that I get the latest Lightroom and upgrades when they are available. The about in Lightroom has only ever describe it as Lightroom 5.x... Never Lightroom CC. Photoshop is described as Photoshop CC.
Today I was offered an upgrade - Pano/HDR/Performance improvements etc. So I upgraded. It upgraded but is showing Lightroom 5.7 - not 6 not CC. Pano/HDR etc are all there.
So what am I missing? What do I have to do to get version CC/6? I have tried to find where to upgrade to CC/6 on the Adobe web site - but I can't find it.
What is it that I'm not understanding?
I'm running Windows 7 64bit, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760 with latest drive from Nvidia site.
If you have pano/HDR available to you then you have installed the new Lightroom. Those features are not in Lightroom 5, and will never be.
LR6 is a side-by-side install with LR5. Make sure you are starting the correct version.
To carry on from what ManiacJoe said, you can't "upgrade" to LR6/CC. You have to actually install it separately and make sure you are running the one you think you're running.
One thing I noticed after my LRCC install (Win 7) is that the shortcut icon simply says "Adobe Lightroom". Previous shortcuts included the version as well.
OOOppsss... Red Face here...
It appears that 5.7 is also still installed - the icon in my toolbar points to 5.7....
Earlier I had opened Lightroom CC - from the CC apps menu - anyway all fixed now - apologies..
Absolutely correct :-)
