Do you have a CC subscription or do you use the stand-alone version?
Whichever way, it is the same download and installer. You can run the (CC) trial for 30 days and decide later to license as CC subscription or as stand-alone.
btw. there are various threads that already answer the exact same question ... use the forum search for further information if needed.
I have the same problem. I have Lightroom 5.7 it tells me, an Update is available, click on the Link, Just goes to Creative Cloud. I have a Stand Alone.
I have spent hours trying to find. Lightroom that is not CC..Google Search, CC and if you click on anything its CC.
I know CC is good, But i have 5.7 and its not in my CC listing or Available updates.. Needs fixing...
As I wrote before, download and install the CC version as it is the same.
If you already have the LR6 key you can enter it during the setup. If not, run as 30-days trial and license later following this guide.
I have a CC subscription. My problem is that I can't find a Lightroom installer to download. Adobe instead dowloads CC and tells me to install Lightroom from CC app. Only there is no Lightroom 6 or Lightroom CC under Apps, just my (currently installed) Lightroom 5.
Can you point me to a link for a Lightroom CC download?

Yes, here is a direct link for the new LR 6/CC installer:
Adobe Customer Care Chat agent fixed it for me: sign out of CC, sign back in and voila! Lightroom CC 2015 was available for installation.
