Hi Bill. If you are looking for the non-CC version of Lightroom 6, you can purchase that upgrade here: Products (Lightroom 6 is near the bottom of the product list.) Let me know if that works for you.
The problem is that the links the Stand Alone version no longer appear when you select LR6 near the bottom. The page it takes you to now only shows the bits for CC. Earlier I was able to get to a link to add LR6 Standalone to my Cart, but it would not let me change from Full to Upgrade, it just kept going back to Full when I selected Upgrade. Now Chat wants me to, I think, apply for a "complimentary upgrade" which makes even less sense to me. Any other ideas?
Hi Bill. I just went through the upgrade purchase flow myself and it worked perfectly. I was able to add the Lightroom 6 upgrade to my cart without issue (Win 8.1/Firefox). Click the link I provided above. Then locate 'Photoshop Lightroom 6' and click the 'Buy' button. Select 'Upgrade' and then provide the prior version you own using the drop-down menu. Click 'Add to Cart'. It should look like this:
If that doesn't work for you, please reply and let me know what OS you are using and what browser and I will try and reproduce what you are seeing on my end.
My bad, I was not simply using the "Buy" link on the page, what a dummy. The part that was confusing is that on the Adobe page for Lightroom it had the link for a while and put it in my "cart". All is well now, thanks for the "hint", it was your last screen shot that finally got through to me.
Pretty silly that Adobe Chat doesn't seem to know this. They don't make this process easy, that is for sure.
Glad to hear you got it going, Bill. I'm sorry for any inconvenience.
No worries. It is unfortunate that Adobe Support does not make the
process easier, such as the issue with needing to log out of Creative
Cloud to get the CC version to work. Luckily there are folks like you
are the Forums that have figured these things out!
Thanks for the very quick help, much appreciated.
