Any chance you have a card reader you can try?
Note: whether or not this issue is fixed, you will be happier using a card reader than plugging the camera into the computer.
I get error message photo 100-200 could not be loaded.
Tell us the exact word-for-word unedited verbatim error message
I've now tested in various ways.
First, I have images on both memory cards in the camera.
Test1) Selects Not all of the photos in the camera at the input port bearings, it seems to work fine.
Test 2) selects all cards in the camera and then get the following, Lightroom starts inportera short but stops and nothing happens (Fig.1).
I turn the camera off after a while and get the next meddelnade (picture 1)
Which can be translated:
"The following files were not imported because they could not read (351)
This error message means you don't have Write permission to the directory that you are trying to copy the photos into.
So, in the Import dialogbox, go to the Destination section on the right, make a note of what directory is specified there, then go into your Operating System and find that diretory and change the permissions to WRITE.
I tried again to select only a few photos in Lightroom does not load any images at all now.
"The following files were not imported because they could not be read.(189)"
Did you try what I suggested?
Yes. I can write and read.
I have now tried to load my old catalog from lightroom5 and then started the program about and that I was asked if I want to update the old directory. I clicked in not doing so.
Now it seems the input port of the camera function.
