I'd advise against it on general grounds.
With other Adobe applications, like Photoshop, it is known to potentially cause a lot of problems. The uninstaller apparently has no concept of any later version still installed, and so it leaves behind many "empty" pointers to itself, rather than the later version. Effectively, it tells the OS that the application is simply no longer installed.
I don't know of any specific Lightroom issues, but I'm not going to try to find out. Uninstall in reverse version order, then reinstall.
