    That blank window


      This question may appear to heave been answered elsewhere, and perhaps it has, but none of the fixes I have implemented actually work.  I have tried the ragtag solutions, including checking my email address for unusual characters, updating Java, removing the corrupted file, etc.  I still have a BLANK window (blank is in uniformly white, without any clickable areas or links).  I can open the installed apps locally, but have no access to the launcher.  I did yesterday after removing the corrupt file, but today we're back to a blank window.  See attached screenshot.  Any ideas?  Currently running OS 10.10.1 on a 2009 Macbook with no other application functionality issues.  I show about 90 GB of free memory.  Thanks for any definitive light you can shed lon the issue!
