I tried to reinstall CS 6 after my computer crashed. Now I cannot access any of the windows (e.g. on the paragraph style window my mouse does not move me to a new style as it does not move the slider)

I had to reinstall the CS 6 after a crash.  Now I cannot move any slider with my mouse on any window.  This means I cannot change a style, or a swatch, I cannot move to a master page.

What process did you follow to reinstall the software?

I used the CD and followed the directions  and accepted all the default.
