Hello F. McLion,
Thank you for helping, I've not tried yet what you're suggesting.
I'll do that tonight and will post the result here.
So after few tests I can say that :
- Disabling GPU acceleration helps : Lightroom is no longer freezing,
- Installing the latest driver doesn't solve anything (when GPU acceleration is enabled, Lightroom is freezing again)
For your information, my graphic card is a NVIDIA GTX 670.
I don't know if anybody here have had the same problem with this card, of if someone could help on how to resolve that ?
The GTX 670 supports OpenGL 4.2 and should actually work.
I'm out of ideas, sorry. I'd try to completely remove and reinstall the graphic driver (there is an option in the Nvidia driver installer to remove the old configuration and install from scratch).
Ok. My problem have now been solved by :
- uninstalling my current Nvidia Driver,
- Installing version 347.52
Hope this can help someone else.
Thanks for the feedback.
I already suggested to somebody else to try an older version and not the latest 350 release because this has specially been released for "Grand Theft Au..." game.
Did not get a feedback yet. Apparently, its seems to help
