All I see is an icon with pdf. It is frustrating. Having scanned the web I have tried the downloadable fix. Nothing. I have tried setting display thumbnails not icons on the advanced settings. This is two days now and it is very annoying. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling. I have tried 'repair'. Nothing. Does someone know how to fix this on Windows 8?
What you want is a feature provided by the OS. If available thank the OS.
Not an Acrobat / Adobe Reader issue.
Same here. I just installed the new Acrobat Pro DC... and thumbnails no longer visible from Windows Explorer.
This is not an OS issue, CtDave.
I also have this problem. I'm using Acrobat in a Win7x64 environment and so far cannot see thumbnails in the folders. I've already set the folders to show thumbnails, even went in through system properties\performance options and still do not see the thumbnails.
Thing is, works just fine in a 32-bit OS, so I'm thinking this has something to do with Adobe and working in a 64-bit OS.
