Just animate the rotation property, the same way you animate the position property. Very easy.

been working with AE for almost a year but get stuck on moving anchor pts.

my AE gets overloaded and quits on me !

Make sure your Windows OS has Service Pack 1 installed; my guess is that it is, but make sure.
Consider installing more memory; 16 GB RAM is good for AE.
